Nestled conveniently near a range of dining spots, my recent stay at Athol was a unique experience. The room was spacious and comfortable, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration. Although the shower was compact, it functioned well. During my time there, I decided to check out the on-site bar and restaurant. I sipped my favorite drink in the sun lounge, which had a pleasant atmosphere, perfect for mingling. While I hadn't dined there, many nearby options like the New Yorker Cafe and Mags Beach Cafe were beckoning. I appreciated the obliging staff; they were always ready to assist. I found the hotel could benefit from some updates, like an operational TV and more charging points. Ultimately, it served as a reasonable stopover. Athol offers a solid base for those exploring Blackpool's culinary offerings. Return visits might just hinge on the dining scene nearby.
